This session focuses on new metering options built to enable more data and control options for both DER and EV management. Landis+Gyr has been working with ANSI to develop a new form 43S standard to support dual-purpose meters capable of meter DER or EV charging installations and disconnecting these resources from the grid.

Grid edge automation and real-time data access are key components for maintaining reliability and resiliency. This panel discussion will present utility use cases for DER control at the grid edge and examine emerging technologies designed to help manage the operations of the grid.
