Exchange Conference Brings Utility Leaders Together in Orlando to Highlight Green Energy Innovation

Landis+Gyr’s annual user conference will feature speakers from utilities and technology companies across North America  

ATLANTA, GA. – May 16, 2022 – Landis+Gyr (SIX: LAND) is highlighting grid modernization for a green energy future at the Company’s Exchange annual user conference in Orlando, FL May 16-19.

Attendees will hear from utilities demonstrating the latest innovations in Grid Edge Intelligence technology and applications focused on decarbonizing the grid, with sessions on electric vehicle management, smart city applications for lighting and sensors and consumer engagement technology.

Exchange 2022 is being held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando with close to 600 attendees representing more than 150 utilities and industry organizations expected to participate.

In addition to more than 60 educational sessions over three days, Exchange attendees also participate in technology user groups and training. Agenda highlights include:

  • Grid Edge Intelligence sensor technology – Utilities currently deploying the revolutionary Revelo® meter will discuss their strategy for implementing waveform data into customer and utility management programs. Other sessions will explore the benefits of edge sensing technology for gas and water metering.
  • Smart City Applications – Attendees will hear about smart city projects, including one in Missouri involving lighting, traffic sensors and noise sensors, all running on the Gridstream® Connect network.
  • EV Management – The conference will cover utilities’ initiatives to add EV charging infrastructure, including background on Landis+Gyr’s newest product offerings for consumer apps and utility management software.

This marks the 14th year Landis+Gyr has hosted Exchange and over the years the conference has marked the rapid technology changes occurring in the utility industry.
