For all other service functions Landis+Gyr MAP110 must be used. 2. System Requirements ---------------------- - Supported operating systems: Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP 4. First Time Installation -------------------------- In order to install correctly Landis+Gyr MAP120, a) ensure that you have administrator privileges on your PC b) run 'setup.exe' c) follow the instructions of the setup wizard 5. Upgrade ---------- 5.1 Upgrade of a former Landis+Gyr MAP120 release 5.1 to the most recent release 5.1 The newest release 5.1 automatically replaces any former release 5.1. All data including the license and the communication profiles is kept. Procedure: Start the installation procedure (run setup.exe) and confirm the upgrade. 5.2 Upgrade of Landis+Gyr MAP120 5.0, 4.x to the most recent release 5.1 The new release can be installed in parallel to a former release 4.0 and up. In this case for the installation a separate directory is required. It is strongly recommended to uninstall the old release because it will no longer be supported. All data including the license and the communication profiles is kept. Procedure: 1. Uninstall the old release. 2. Start the installation procedure of the new release (run setup.exe). 3. In case of a parallel installation select a different directory. 5.3 Upgrade of Landis+Gyr MAP120 3.x, 2.5, 2.4 or 2.3 to the most recent release 5.1 The new release can be installed in parallel to a former release 2.3 and up. In this case for the installation a separate directory is required. It is strongly recommended to uninstall the old release because it will no longer be supported.
