ATLANTA, GA. – July 29, 2010 – Gridstream™, Landis+Gyr’s smart grid solution for advanced metering, grid automation and personal energy management, successfully completed compatibility testing with WiMAX network provider Vecima Networks.

ATLANTA, GA. – June 21, 2010 – Landis+Gyr, the world’s largest smart meter solutions provider, today announced it has been selected by CPS Energy, the largest electric and natural gas municipal utility in the U.S., to deploy Landis+Gyr’s Gridstream™ smart grid solution for its more than one million electric and natural gas customers in San Antonio, Texas.

ATLANTA, GA – May 27, 2010 – Landis+Gyr announced it has signed an agreement with RSA, The Security Division of EMC, to provide enhanced security for its Gridstream™ smart grid network. Smart grid technologies have the power to transform electricity efficiency and reliability, and building security into the smart grid ecosystem from the start helps companies address potential vulnerabilities and risks to the system. The engagement between the two companies will build upon Landis+Gyr’s expertise in advanced metering infrastructure and applications, and RSA’s proven track record in security and information risk management.

ATLANTA, GA. – May 18, 2010 – Landis+Gyr is moving ahead to deploy an advanced metering system to more than 700,000 AEP Texas electric consumers in south and west Texas, after successfully completing the first phase of installations.

Atlanta, GA – March 31, 2010 – Landis+Gyr and Obvient Strategies have entered into a licensing agreement whereby Landis+Gyr will market and sell Obvient Strategies’ business intelligence software products for utility applications, while further integrating those products into the Gridstream™ family of smart grid solutions.

ATLANTA, GA. – February 11, 2010 – Landis+Gyr announced the release of the Gridstream™ PLC (TS2) module for the FOCUS® AX advanced meter. This new module for PLC networks allows utilities to select optional features such as ZigBee® RF to communicate with home area network devices.
